At Second Nature, we’re building a state-of-the-art dialogue system that changes how sales teams speak to their prospects. We’re working with some of the largest companies in the world, helping them on-boarding new team members, master product presentations and better understand their clients’ needs.

Our engineering team develops voice and conversational AI technologies to support this unique training platform, and we’re looking for a strong backend engineer to join it. Current backend engineers on the team build dialogue services, focusing on low-latency, high resource processing of languages and audio at large scale.

In this role, you will:

• Build scalable, low latency streaming services.
• Work closely with NLP engineers on our conversation management and analysis services.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers on our audio/video conversation frameworks.
• Define our long-term cloud based back-end architecture.
• Help scale our engineering team, technically and culturally.

We’re excited to have you since you’ve got:

• 6+ years programming experience.
• 2+ years experience with Python.
• Experience building web scale back-end services.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
• Fast pace and “get things done” attitude.
• Experience thinking, planning, and executing autonomously and as part of a team.

At least one of the following:

• Graduate of a leading academic institute in CS or equivalent
• Graduate of a technological IDF unit

It would be awesome (but not a must) if you’ve got:

• Experience in voice steaming and analysis.
• Experience with Django, Flask or similar.
• Experience with Kubernetes and docker
