Second Nature surveyed over 500 L&D professionals around the world, to learn about the biggest challenges that they face when it comes to implementing AI-powered training.
The primary challenge revolves around maximizing training effectiveness on a tight budget. Budget constraints were cited as the top obstacle to adopting new AI trends and for L&D in general. Lack of AI expertise came in close second, showing that finance isn’t the only reason for L&D hesitancy around AI-powered training.
At the same time, L&D professionals worry about driving measurable skills improvement and proving ROI on their training programs. Skills improvement is both the most important KPI for any training program and the one that’s hardest to achieve, cited by over half of survey participants. Two out of every five L&D professionals said that demonstrating ROI is a top concern.
