“Leveraging AI and Second Nature has been a game-changer for onboarding and certifying salespeople.”

What do you like best?
From my previous experiences with AI, the technology does not end up adding value because the data used to train the AI typically ends up being dirty which skews the AI engine’s recommendation.

The nice thing about Second Nature is the data-set used to train the AI comes directly from top performers interacting with the AI – which guarantees clean data and accurate coaching and feedback from the AI. It really really works as advertised! (which is rare in the world of AI)

What do you dislike?
Since we rolled out Second Nature, I am inundated with requests to leverage this technology! Demand from our users is more than I can keep up with!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Second Nature allows us to scale the way we leverage role-playing by removing the dependency on managers and SMEs and instead scaling this with AI. This has allowed us to reduce ramp time and increase engagement with our certification process to quickly align and standardize on new messaging.

“Taking the guessing out of improving sales performance”

Overall:
Very positive. I helped a client get the system as part of strategic consulting work. Lack of transparency in their sales force was the motivator in finding a solution. After getting a demo and hearing from their customers, I was impressed.

Pros:
Everything is measureable with data to back it up. There’s no need to review videos of calls or wait until someone blows a deal to try to figure it out afterwards. Second Nature helps prepare the troops before they get to battle, not adding band aids after they come back. I like the idea of transparency, data driven, measurable, and intelligent training.

Cons:
This needs more languages, I had a customer in Japan that was interested in it for their partner network but couldn’t deploy with English only. When the other languages come it will allow for global adoption by the large multi-nationals across all their sales teams.

Reasons for Choosing Second Nature:
Unique feature set matched the needs of the project, and the outcome is that it was the right decision. We see results, client was happy, I was happy.

“Practicing role plays with AI”

Pros:
Second Nature lets you practice all your sales pitches, product presentations, slide shares etc. with a virtual customer Jenny, who is an AI bot. Jenny is programmed to act like a real customer, asking about competition, value and other topics. She gives you feedback after each practice session which is really helpful to figure out points I didn’t cover well enough, and how to improve my tone. As a manager on the system, I can see how each of my sales reps is doing and can drill into trouble spots, listen to their recordings, and put together a customized coaching program for anyone who needs it.

Cons:
Sometimes talking to a robot feels a little…robotic. It takes getting used to. But once you’ve done a few simulations you get the hang of it. Some of our reps prefer practicing with Jenny to practicing with their manager.

Reasons for Choosing Second Nature:
We felt that call recording products & Second Nature were actually complementary. Call recording let’s you see what is actually happening on real sales calls. Second Nature lets reps prepare for those calls and make & fix all their mistakes before the real deal.

“An incredibly unique experience!”

What do you like best?
I love the detailed feedback and results after doing the simulation. It’s impressive that we now have AI technology that can give feedback on the way we speak and deliver pitches in such a short amount of time. The results showed my knowledge of the topic, the manner that I talked (pacing, fillers, energy), and if I have covered all talking points required. It really is an excellent feedback system that gives insights on how I do my calls and pitches so I can further improve.

What do you dislike?
I honestly do not have anything I dislike for the moment. Sometimes Jenny the AI talks over me, but it’s mostly when I have long gaps of silence in my simulation practices that she starts to take over and even then, it’s still a plus since she asks leading questions that helps me remember my talking points.

What benefits have you realized?

I believe the coaching software provides transparency in areas where we excel and aspects we need to work on when delivering spiels and presentations. It helps further improve our manner of dealing with external relationships and is helpful in different lines of work such as sales or enablement or customer success.

“The right product for sales leaders who are 100% done with excuses”

What do you like best?
Two things:

1 – it helps my team win THIS QUARTER.

2- It gives me insights on which teams lag – but also which product line needs a new sales pitch, because all teams suck at it. That is HUGE for us.

What do you dislike?
1] You’ll need to invest the time to train the AI to create the challenges your team will meet in reality. This isn’t a bad thing – but don’t expect zero effort.

2] The conversation experience can be a bit more engaging. That’s an easy fix, folks, do it!

What benefits have you realized?
The biggest sales challenge in my mind is to have the sales reps put in the time and be 100% READY for their calls. Being ready means they know all the problems they can solve – and the ones they can’t – as well as relevant examples. Secondnature significantly improves the readiness level of our reps.

“Made scaling Enterprise sales teams much easier”

What do you like best?
I liked not having to waste time or be unavailable when the sales team needed training, certification, and product knowledge. Scaling a sales team quickly means everything happens at once, and sales can’t sell until they know what they are selling, and how to sell it. The job falls to the enablement teams to step in, but there are infinite numbers of team members and they aren’t available 24/7. Second Nature was able to use their AI to have not one new person to train with but an unlimited amount, at any time we needed them. Interactive training just when you need it was the ideal sweet spot for us.

What do you dislike?
Nothing specific to be honest. Second Nature did it’s job and the team was very responsive to any of our issues or questions.

What benefits have you realized?
We’re solving sales training, certification, selling, and product knowledge gaps along with onboarding for sales teams. Our team spends a lot of time doing these tasks and now we have time for more challenging issues and can be a more productive part of the marketing/sales teams.

“A great way to train sales on product knowledge”

What do you like best?
I like that it takes our current manual process with sales enablement and product teams, and automates it. The AI “learns” the training and selling, then provides that training to the sales team. Since they can use it any time they want it frees up time for everyone. Training on product knowledge and selling is now on demand. The AI (Jenny) is also very easy to train with. At first some people had some adjusting to get used to it, but far easier than other tools that we used.

What do you dislike?
I’d actually like to see a version of this for our external partner VARS and distributors. If I could extend this for the external companies it would be a huge time saver for our channel teams. Aside from that there isn’t anything I’d really change.

What benefits have you realized?
Getting sales trained on new product features before we roll them out. In the past the training took so long that the product was already in the field by the time we finished training. Now product rollouts and sales are aligned, win win for us.

“Great way to do REAL training at your own pace”

What do you like best?
I loved the ability to work with the virtual coach to perform live practice on the different sales strategies. This made it easy to get actual reps in without having to take any time from my colleagues.

“Loved this training!!”

What do you like best?
I loved that it was interactive and that I was able to put what I had just learnt into practice. I also love the objection handling tips, they are so practical and can really be used in any sales call or demo. I can’t wait to try them out.

What do you dislike?
I wish there were more tips, I finished the course feeling like I wanted even more!

“Great tool for creating product certifications”

What do you like best?
the fact that the tool provides real time feedback is very effective as it helps the reps to tune in the pitch. It also gives a score so we can set thresholds for certification without the need to wait for manger’s approvals. the reports that managers get are proven very effective as well. overall its really a great tool

What do you dislike?
Jenny (the AI buyer) took some time to get used to, at first the voice sounded robotic to some reps, but they got used to it.

we have multiple product lines and many reps, we want to make sure all the reps are proficient selling all the products, they can speak to different buyers and handle all kinds of objections. before that we could not scale the coaching. we used forms, 1on1 simulations and recorded pitches but it just did not bring the same impact.

“A great tool”

What do you like best?
It gives product managers and marketing team an overview of how the sales people talk, but also gives them a way to influence it and expand it a bit, and reps prefer it.

What do you dislike?
The sound of Jenny is a bit robotic, but I got used to it.

Releasing new products and features is hard. It typically takes the sales team a while until they are comfortable pitching those and require a lot of effort from the product team. This tool helps expedite the process.

What do you like best?
It forces marketing teams to think on how sales would express the value proposition, and forces sales to know the details fluently
